Bryan Ramey represents his clients in a relentlessly reasonable manner.  He has never represented an insurance company, and Bryan Ramey and Associates, Trial Lawyers is devoted 100% to representing the injured.

He has tried cases at all levels of South Carolina State Courts, and has argued appeals at the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court.  In federal court, he has tried cases in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.  He has also appeared pro hac vice in Michigan trial court, and at the Michigan Court of Appeals.

In June 2008, he was elected to the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Association for Justice.  He is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Injured Workers’ Advocates.

He completed his undergraduate education at Clemson University in 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics.  In 1991, he received his law degree from The University of South Carolina School of Law.  During his third year of law school, he was Regional Champion of the National Trial Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyerset al; and received the Lewis F. Powell Medallion for Excellence in Advocacy.  In 2000, the National College of Advocacy honored him as an Advocate; and as a Fellow in 2007.

Jason Porter has spent his career helping the injured. He instinctively puts the interests of individuals over big industry.  Jason has garnered significant experience in several areas of practice, particularly in workers’ compensation and social security disability, where he has argued hundreds of cases.

He is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Injured Workers’ Advocates. Jason was recently selected to serve on the Executive Board of the Injured Workers’ Advocates, an association that protects the rights of South Carolinians injured in the workplace.

Jason completed his undergraduate education at Clemson University. While at Clemson, Jason served as a student judge for the University’s disciplinary matters, was a member of the debate team, and received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science, graduating with honors, cum laude, in 1999.  In 2003, he received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School Of Law. He was selected as a member of the University of South Carolina Moot Court Bar and received the C.A.L.I. Award for Scholastic Excellence in Civil Procedure in his second year of law school. In 2007, the National College of Advocacy honored him as an Advocate.
